| Freezers (Negative Temperature) | Operate at lower temperatures, typically 0°C to -20°C (approx. 32°F to -4°F), for long-term preservation, often used in forensic institutes. Some specialized units can reach as low as -50°C. |
| Temperature Control System | Utilizes a microprocessor-based digital PID controller with high accuracy (typically ±1°C) for precise monitoring and control. Each chamber often has an independent temperature control system. |
| Construction Material | The interior and exterior are predominantly made of high-grade, corrosion-resistant SS-304 stainless steel for hygiene and durability. |
| Insulation | High-density, CFC-free polyurethane foam (PUF), typically 100mm thick, is used to ensure minimal thermal loss and temperature stability. |
